A flavorful and easy-to-make dish combining steak, pasta, and a sweet and spicy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the flank steak and cook until browned on both sides.
  3. Remove the steak and let it rest before slicing it thinly.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and sliced steak to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

  • For extra heat, increase the amount of sriracha.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.
