Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine chicken breasts, wild rice, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, broth, thyme, and parsley.
