  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the Cornish hens under cold water and pat dry.
  3. Rub the hens with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Stuff the cavity of each hen with lemon halves and rosemary.
  5. Place the hens breast side up in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the hens rest for 10 minutes before serving.
