2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Stir in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
Add the heavy cream, pepperoncini, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
Return the chicken to the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer until cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
Notes
Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
Use more or less pepperoncini depending on your taste preference.
