- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- Add olive oil to the pot and sauté the onions, carrots, and celery until tender.
- Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the chicken ham, chicken broth, smoked paprika, and thyme. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with crumbled turkey bacon.
