  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and bake for 55-60 minutes.
  7. Let cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
