  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Stir in the maple syrup and eggs until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
