1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate cake, crumbled
1 cup cherry pie filling
1/2 cup chocolate shavings
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
In a trifle dish, layer half of the crumbled cake at the bottom.
Add a layer of cherry pie filling over the cake.
Spread half of the whipped cream over the cherries.
Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, cherry filling, and whipped cream.
