- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 servings of mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onions, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- In a skillet, brown the patties on both sides, then place them in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with beef broth and pour over the patties.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- In the last 10 minutes of baking, add mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese.
- Remove foil and bake until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
